BBFC Trip:
On our trip to the BBFC we had a two hour seminar on how films are rated by the BBFC and the requirements films have to for-fill to be a certain age range. I learnt that there have been many age ratings over the years for example the 'H' rating meant horrific so obviously it means it was a scary film. I also learnt that if a film wants to have an age rating of say 12 but the BBFC rate it as a 15, the producer will have to make cuts to the film in order for the film to meet the requirements of the 12 rating.
