Evaluation of formats

White Board Technique: 

WWW: 

There are thousand of examples of white board animation on youtube where people draw a story where everything somehow moves into another object but each time the whiteboard has to be wiped and re draw 
  • Easy to draw and create animations 
  • Smooth transition to make a good animation 
  • you can animate almost anything you draw

EBI: 


  • Can be vey time consuming 
  • Can be frustrating if you accidentally rub out one of the drawings
  • Your work can smudge

























Clay Animation: 



WWW: 

An example of clay animation would be 'Morph' from the art programme 'Smart.' Similar to the technique in where all take photos of each movement the then put together  ti make a fluent clip. 
  • Easy and fun to make
  • can look very professional 
  • can use a variety of colours

EBI: 

  • very time consuming 
  • Clay can fall apart 
  • clay can be quite expensive 































People and Objects animations:



WWW:

There is a advert for the tab 'Kindle' where people and objects are laying on the floor and the camera is set from a birds eye view and a photo is taken the everything in the shot move a tiny bit and another photo is taken and so on. 
  • Looked very good and professional 
  • was fun to film
  • was able to use a number of props 


EBI: 

  • Had more props and people to film
  • had a more professional camera
  • could use a background



















Lego Animation:

An example of lego animation would be  in the hit film 'The Lego Movie' Each movement is a separate photo taken 3 or 4 times and then out together to make a smooth flow to the stop motion animation. 
  • Wide range of props to be used 
  • Large number of scenes and scenarios we could create
  • was fun to create and film


EBI: 

  • If we had more lego bricks and vehicles we could have used
  • if we had more lego men
